Complementing the Rubber Band collection of women’s Rolex watches, the Rubber B brand introduces 31mm replica Rolex Oyster Perpetual and replica Rolex Datejust models – Tang clasp collection with stainless steel buckle clasp. The 6238 was produced only for a short time between the 1960s and 1967, and was the last Rolex chronograph with a smooth bezel and an in-dial tachymeter. This was the forerunner and inspiration for the first Cosmograph wristwatch with a tonneau and Oyster case, reference 6239.
This is a rare variant of 6238 as it has a black lacquered dial. This watch with serial number 866’xxx was likely one of the first 6238s produced. Glossy and mirror, the quality of this dial must be different. The dial with luminous dots stays intact and changes color over time. The dial is engraved with “-T Swiss T-” at 6 o’clock on a black dial background. Furthermore, the hands do not show any signs of scratches or discoloration, which somewhat confirms the quality and novelty of this watch.
